Privacy Policy

• Account details from Google Sign-In: your name, email address and Google account ID.
• Application and form details you enter: name, phone number, college, department, year, register or roll number, date of birth and gender (workshop certificates), address, chosen internship domain and dates.
• Files you upload: college ID card, college permission letter, and screenshots you attach to workshop certificate requests.
• Your work in the portal: task and practice submissions (links to your GitHub, LinkedIn or solution), quiz answers, course and subject progress, project activity, support messages, feedback and reviews.
• Payment records: amount, purpose, status and the reference from Razorpay or our office. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay and never reach or stay with us.
• Notifications: if you allow them, a device token so we can send you updates.
• Certificate checks: when anyone verifies a certificate number, we log the number, the result and the time, to detect misuse.

We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell your information.

• To review applications and issue offer letters, certificates and reports in your name.
• To run your internship: assign and review tasks, show your progress, points and leaderboard position.
• To let employers and colleges confirm that a certificate you hold is genuine. A verification shows the certificate's holder name, programme or workshop, college and dates.
• To take payments, send receipts and keep accounts.
• To send you notifications about your application, tasks and certificates.
• To answer your support requests and improve our training.

Your public leaderboard profile shows your name, internship domain, company and points. Reviews you write appear with the display name you choose, and only after staff approve them.

Only you and authorised Training Trains staff (mentors, managers and administrators) can see your applications, uploads and submissions. We share information only with the services that run the portal, and only as needed:

• Google Firebase and Google Cloud (sign-in, database, file storage, notifications), in India and the US;
• Razorpay, to process online payments.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access rules limit each student to their own records, uploaded files are private, and documents are downloaded only by their owner. Staff actions on records are logged.

We keep your account and internship records while your account is active and for as long as needed to issue and verify your documents. Issued certificate and offer letter records are kept so they can be verified in future, including after you delete your account. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.

• See and download your documents from your dashboard at any time.
• Ask us to correct wrong details (a certificate can be reissued with corrected details).
• Turn notifications off in your phone or browser settings.
• Delete your account and its data. See Delete your account.

Our programmes are for college students. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We will update this page when our practices change, and change the date at the top.
