Cloud Computing, IoT & Blockchain Internship
Cloud, IoT, and blockchain get bundled into one domain here because in real deployments they usually meet - a sensor needs somewhere to send its data, and that data pipeline needs to be hosted, secured, and sometimes made tamper-evident.
What you'll work on
- AWS and Google Cloud fundamentals - compute, storage, and networking basics
- Deploying a small application to a real cloud instance
- IoT basics - sensor data collection with Arduino or Raspberry Pi
- Blockchain fundamentals - how a distributed ledger actually works, beyond the buzzword
- A guided task connecting a device or app to a cloud-hosted backend
Real software work, not just training
Cloud hosting is also literally our business - our sister company DomainHostly runs AWS and Google Cloud hosting and deployment for real clients, so what you practice here maps directly to production infrastructure work.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own cloud account to join?+
No - lab access and guidance for setting up free-tier AWS/Google Cloud accounts are part of the onboarding, so there's no cost to you for the cloud portion of the domain.
Is hardware provided for the IoT portion?+
Offline interns at our Erode/Perundurai branches get lab access to Arduino/Raspberry Pi kits; online interns work through simulated exercises for the device layer and hands-on for the cloud/backend side.
Available both online (work from home) and offline at our Erode and Perundurai branches - see the full internship program details for departments, duration, and the application process.
