Accessibility and inclusive design

Design for everyone, including people with disabilities.

๐Ÿ“– Key ideas

  1. Follow WCAG: perceivable, operable, understandable, robust.
  2. Colour contrast at least 4.5:1 for normal text.
  3. Don't rely on colour alone; add icons/labels.
  4. Support keyboard navigation and screen readers.
  5. Design for different languages, literacy levels and low-end devices.
๐Ÿ’ก Real-life example: Accessibility is building ramps alongside stairs so everyone can enter.
