Building core charts

Create bar, line, map, scatter and table views.

📖 Key ideas

  1. Bar: dimension on Rows, measure on Columns.
  2. Line: date on Columns, measure on Rows.
  3. Maps: geographic fields (State, City) auto-generate coordinates.
  4. Scatter: two measures, with a dimension on Detail.
  5. Text tables (crosstabs) and highlight tables show exact numbers.
💡 Real-life example: Each chart is a different lens on the same data: zoom, trend, compare or locate.
