Waits and synchronisation
Handle dynamic pages without flaky tests.
📖 Key ideas
- Pages load content asynchronously; tests must wait.
- Implicit wait: global wait for elements.
- Explicit wait: WebDriverWait with expected conditions.
- Avoid time.sleep() fixed delays.
- Wait for visibility, clickability or text.
💡 Real-life example: Explicit waits are waiting at the bus stop until your bus arrives, not standing a fixed 10 minutes.
Implicit waitGlobal element wait
Explicit waitWait for a specific condition
Expected conditionCondition like element_to_be_clickable
Flaky testTest with random pass/fail
