Install the OS and get started.

Flash Raspberry Pi OS to a microSD card with Raspberry Pi Imager.
Pre-configure Wi-Fi, username and SSH in Imager.
Connect power (official supply recommended), display, keyboard or use headless SSH.
Update: sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade.
raspi-config adjusts settings.

💡 Real-life example: Flashing the SD card is installing the brain before switching the robot on.
