- Put KPIs at the top, trends in the middle, details below.
- Limit visuals per page; keep consistent colours.
- Use titles that state insights.
- Add slicers for date, region and category.
- Use tooltips and drill-through for details.
💡 Real-life example: A dashboard is a car dashboard: speed, fuel and warnings at a glance, not the engine manual.
