Build relationships and star schemas.

📖 Key ideas

  1. Fact tables hold measurable events (sales); dimension tables hold descriptions (product, date, customer).
  2. Relationships link tables by keys (one-to-many).
  3. Star schema keeps models fast and simple.
  4. Create a dedicated Date table.
  5. Hide technical columns from report view.
💡 Real-life example: A star schema is a solar system: the sales fact table is the sun, dimensions orbit around it.
