📖 Key ideas

  1. Power Query (in Excel and Power BI) imports and transforms data.
  2. Steps are recorded and can be refreshed.
  3. Common steps: remove columns, split, change types, fill down, unpivot.
  4. Merge (join) and append (stack) queries.
  5. Connect to Excel, CSV, folders, databases, web.
