Why Next.js?

  1. Next.js is built on React by Vercel.
  2. It gives file-based routing, server rendering, static generation and API routes.
  3. Create an app: npx create-next-app@latest.
  4. Better SEO and faster first load than a plain client-only SPA.
  5. Runs on Vercel, Node servers, containers or as a static export.
💡 Real-life example: If React is the engine, Next.js is the whole car: engine plus wheels, steering and seats.
