📖 Key ideas

  1. Test pyramid per service: unit, integration, contract tests.
  2. Contract tests (Pact) catch breaking API changes.
  3. Each service has its own CI/CD pipeline.
  4. Use feature flags and canary releases.
  5. Roles: backend engineer, platform engineer, SRE; skills: APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, messaging, observability.
💡 Real-life example: Independent pipelines are separate kitchens: each team cooks and serves without waiting for others.
