Storage
Persist data with volumes and persistent volume claims.
📖 Key ideas
- Container files are lost when pods restart.
- Volumes attach storage to pods.
- PersistentVolume (PV) is storage; PersistentVolumeClaim (PVC) requests it.
- StorageClasses provision disks dynamically.
- StatefulSets give stable identity and storage for databases.
💡 Real-life example: A PVC is a parking pass request; the PV is the actual parking spot assigned.
