Pull requests and code review

Collaborate through pull requests on GitHub.

📖 Key ideas

  1. A pull request (PR) proposes merging a branch.
  2. Reviewers comment, suggest changes and approve.
  3. Describe what changed and why; link issues.
  4. CI checks run automatically on PRs.
  5. Squash, merge or rebase-merge when approved.
💡 Real-life example: A pull request is submitting your homework for the teacher's review before it goes in the final file.
