Unity is a popular engine for 2D, 3D, mobile and XR games.

📖 Key ideas

  1. Unity builds games for Android, iOS, PC, consoles, web and VR.
  2. Scripts are written in C#.
  3. Install Unity Hub, then an editor version (LTS recommended).
  4. Editor windows: Scene, Game, Hierarchy, Inspector, Project, Console.
  5. Many Indian studios and indie developers use Unity.
💡 Real-life example: Unity is a film studio for games: sets (scenes), actors (GameObjects) and scripts (C#) directing them.
