How the web works

- The browser (client) requests pages; servers respond.
- Front end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript running in the browser.
- Back end: server code, APIs and databases.
- HTTP carries requests and responses; DNS finds servers.
- A full stack developer works on both front end and back end.
💡 Real-life example: A website is a restaurant: the dining area is the front end, the kitchen is the back end, the pantry is the database.
