📖 Key ideas

  1. REST or GraphQL APIs return JSON.
  2. Backends: Node.js/Express, Django, Spring Boot, Laravel.
  3. Backend-as-a-Service: Firebase, Supabase.
  4. Authenticate with tokens (JWT/Firebase ID tokens).
  5. Version APIs so old app versions keep working.
