Testing and publishing
Test apps and release to Play Store and App Store.
📖 Key ideas
- Unit, widget and integration tests: flutter test.
- Build Android: flutter build appbundle (AAB) signed with your upload key.
- Build iOS: flutter build ipa (needs a Mac and Apple Developer account).
- Update version in pubspec.yaml (version: 1.2.0+5).
- Add app icons, splash screen, privacy policy and store listings.
💡 Real-life example: Publishing is sending your app to two shops (Play Store, App Store) with labels, photos and a signed passport.
