Communication protocols
Connect chips and devices.
๐ Key ideas
- UART: simple serial (TX/RX), used for debugging and modules.
- I2C: two wires (SDA, SCL), many devices with addresses.
- SPI: fast, four wires (MOSI, MISO, SCK, CS).
- CAN: robust bus for cars and industry.
- USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and BLE for external connectivity.
๐ก Real-life example: Protocols are languages chips speak: UART is a phone call, I2C a party line, SPI a fast private line.
