Django admin

Manage data with the built-in admin site.

📖 Key ideas

  1. Create an admin user: python manage.py createsuperuser.
  2. Register models in admin.py: admin.site.register(Post).
  3. Customise with ModelAdmin: list_display, search_fields, list_filter.
  4. Visit /admin to manage records.
  5. Admin is for staff, not public users.
💡 Real-life example: Django admin is a free back office that appears the moment you hire it, ready for staff to use.
