Infrastructure as Code

Create servers and cloud resources from code.

📖 Key ideas

  1. IaC defines infrastructure in files: Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, Pulumi.
  2. Changes are reviewed in Git like application code.
  3. Terraform: init → plan → apply.
  4. Configuration management: Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
  5. Repeatable environments reduce "works on my machine".
💡 Real-life example: IaC is a building blueprint: give it to any builder and the same house appears.
