  1. The operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android) manages hardware and apps.
  2. Files are stored in folders; a path shows the location, like C:\Users\Name\Documents.
  3. File extensions show the type: .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, .pdf, .jpg.
  4. Use File Explorer to copy, move, rename and delete files.
  5. Deleted files go to the Recycle Bin until it is emptied.
