Getting started with Arduino

Arduino makes electronics and coding easy for beginners.

📖 Key ideas

  1. Arduino is an open-source electronics platform with boards and an IDE.
  2. Popular board: Arduino Uno (ATmega328P, 5V, 14 digital pins, 6 analog inputs).
  3. Programs are called sketches, written in C/C++.
  4. Install Arduino IDE, select board and port, then Upload.
  5. Simulate online with Tinkercad Circuits or Wokwi.
💡 Real-life example: Arduino is a Lego Technic set for electronics: snap parts together and program them.
