Run virtual servers with EC2.

📖 Key ideas

  1. EC2 provides virtual machines called instances.
  2. Choose an AMI (OS image) and instance type (CPU/RAM).
  3. Security groups act as virtual firewalls.
  4. Connect via SSH using a key pair (or Session Manager).
  5. Pricing: On-Demand, Reserved/Savings Plans, Spot.
💡 Real-life example: EC2 is renting a computer in AWS's building and controlling it from your laptop.
