Product backlog and user stories

Capture and refine work as user stories.

📖 Key ideas

  1. The Product Backlog is an ordered list of what is needed.
  2. User story: As a <user>, I want <goal> so that <benefit>.
  3. Acceptance criteria define when a story is done (Given/When/Then).
  4. INVEST: Independent, Negotiable, Valuable, Estimable, Small, Testable.
  5. Refinement splits and clarifies items.
💡 Real-life example: The backlog is a to-do list sorted by importance; user stories are wishes written from the user's side.
