Prove you can do the work
Employers want evidence that you can think, not only that you can prompt.
When anyone can produce code with AI, a finished project alone proves less. What stands out is showing that you understood the work, found its problems, and took responsibility for it.
What to build up
- Work reviewed by someone else, with the feedback you acted on.
- Examples of bugs you found and how you fixed them.
- The ability to explain your choices in an interview, without notes.
- Basics that do not depend on a tool: data structures, SQL, how the web works.
At Training Trains
Solve Engineering Lab cases to prove your judgement. They count towards Company Work, where you do real jobs that a reviewer checks. Your Evidence Record then shows what you did and who checked it, and you can add your results to your Skill Passport.
Use AI freely to learn and to work faster, but follow the rules for each piece of work. Exams, quizzes and work you claim as your own must follow the Code of Conduct.
