Abstract

Flutter Weather is an open-source Mobile App Development project. Weather app created using Flutter and Dart. A simple weather App created using Flutter and Dart and using API from OpenWeatherMap. It is built using Dart, Flutter. Key capabilities include: Automatically acquire user current location; Searchable location; Hourly weather information. The complete source code is publicly available on GitHub under the MIT License, making it a useful reference for students building a Mobile App Development mini project or final-year project.

6. Installation & Setup

git clone https://github.com/ArizArmeidi/FlutterWeather.git
cd FlutterWeather
  1. Create an account at OpenWeatherMap.
  2. Then get your API key from https://home.openweathermap.org/api_keys.
  3. Clone the repo
  4. Install all the packages by typing
  5. Navigate to lib/provider/weatherProvider.dart and paste your API key to the apiKey variable
  6. Run the App
