Abstract

Google Analytics Plugin is an open-source Digital Marketing & SEO project. Cordova Google Analytics Plugin for Android & iOS. This plugin provides support for some of the more specific analytics functions (screen, event & exception tracking, custom metrics & dimensions) and also the more generic set and send functions which can be used to implement all of the Google Analytics collection features. It is built using Objective-C, Android. The complete source code is publicly available on GitHub under the Apache License 2.0, making it a useful reference for students building a Digital Marketing & SEO mini project or final-year project.

1. Introduction

This plugin provides support for some of the more specific analytics functions (screen, event & exception tracking, custom metrics & dimensions) and also the more generic set and send functions which can be used to implement all of the Google Analytics collection features.

The send & set functions provide maximum flexibility and allow you to utilize all of the Google Analytics collection calls. Some helper functions are also provided to support some of the more common analytic functions.
