Abstract
Numasec is an open-source Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking project. The AI Agent for Cyber Security. numasec is an AI security agent that runs in your terminal. It is built using TypeScript. The complete source code is publicly available on GitHub under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0, making it a useful reference for students building a Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking mini project or final-year project.
1. Introduction
numasec is an AI security agent that runs in your terminal.
numasec gives the model a security workspace instead of just a chat box. It keeps the target, scope, tools, runbooks, findings, evidence, replay and report state together while the work is happening.
numasec is strongest today for authorized AppSec and Pentest workflows. Other cyber surfaces exist or are possible, but they are not marketed as equally mature yet.
2. Objective
The AI Agent for Cyber Security.
This project demonstrates how TypeScript can be applied to a real-world Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking problem.
