Abstract
Event Management is an open-source Full Stack Web Development project. Event management system(DBMS). A comprehensive Java Swing desktop application for managing college events, participant registrations, and event administration. It is built using Java, MySQL. Key capabilities include: User Authentication; Separate login for administrators and participants; Secure password handling. The complete source code is publicly available on GitHub under the MIT License, making it a useful reference for students building a Full Stack Web Development mini project or final-year project.

6. Installation & Setup

cd Event_Management- Ensure MySQL server is running
- Create a new MySQL user (or use existing one):
- Update database configuration in src/main/resources/config.properties
- Home Screen
- Choose between Admin Login or Student Registration
- Admin Login
- Username: admin
- Password: admin123 (change in production)
CREATE USER 'superadmin'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'Super@1999';
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'superadmin'@'localhost' WITH GRANT OPTION;
