Abstract
Flashlight is an open-source Mobile App Development project. 📱⚡️ Lighthouse for Mobile - audits your app and gives a performance score to your Android apps (native, React Native, Flutter..). Measure performance on CLI, E2E tests, CI. Flashlight generates a performance score for your Android app, aggregating different metrics. _( iOS support is also in the works)_. It is built using TypeScript, Android, React Native, Flutter. The complete source code is publicly available on GitHub under the MIT License, making it a useful reference for students building a Mobile App Development mini project or final-year project.
1. Introduction
Flashlight generates a performance score for your Android app, aggregating different metrics. _( iOS support is also in the works)_
No setup required in your app Measure performance even on production apps Generates beautiful reports (like this Flatlist/Flashlist comparison)
2. Objective
📱⚡️ Lighthouse for Mobile - audits your app and gives a performance score to your Android apps (native, React Native, Flutter..). Measure performance on CLI, E2E tests, CI...
This project demonstrates how TypeScript, Android, React Native can be applied to a real-world Mobile App Development problem.
