Workflow Management
This project is very helpful for manage employee’s workload; it consists of employee working details, employee leave details, employee designation details, employee experience details, software project information, number of resources allocated to the project, project completion details.
Employee salary details, etc. This .Net application mainly works with three modules those are administrator module for manage the company, project engineer module for developing software application and project manager module for managing the project.
Modules:
- Principal :
- Login: Principal need to login with his/her valid login credentials.
- Add Faculty: Principal can add new faculty details and create their login credentials.
- Manage Faculty: All the registered faculty details can be managed by the principal.
- Creating Meeting: System allows principal to create a meeting by specifying details such as Topic, Discussion Points, Date-Time and select a faculty name with whom principal wants to meet.
- Forum: View current topics and create a new topic.
- Leave Approval: Principal has the authority to approve leave, which are requested by the HOD and Faculty.
- Question Paper Approval: Principal can view question paper request received from faculty and approve/disapprove it.
- HOD :
- Login: HOD need to login with his/her valid login credentials.
- Profile: HOD person can view his/her own profile and also can edit/update details as well as photo if required.
- Creating Meeting: System allows HOD to create a meeting by specifying details such as Topic, Discussion Points, Date-Time and select a faculty name with whom HOD wants to meet.
- Meeting Notification: Once a meeting is created by the principal with a respective HOD, he/she will receive a notification of the meeting.
- Forum: HOD can create a new topic for discussion with principal and faculty and also can view all the other topics created by the principal.
- Leave Asking & Status: HOD can request for a leave by specifying the leave date/period and reason. The leave request will be sent to principal for approval. A status will be displayed as approved/disapproved.
- Faculty:
- Login: Faculty need to login with his/her valid login credentials.
- Profile: Faculty person can view his/her own profile and also can edit/update details as well as photo if required.
- Meeting Notification: Once a meeting is created by the HOD with a respective Faculty, he/she will receive a notification of the meeting.
- Forum: Faculty person can create a new topic for discussion with principal and HOD and also can view all the other topics created by the principal.
- Paper Approval & Status: Here, a faculty can upload a question paper and request principal for the approval. A status will be displayed as approved/disapproved.
Project Implementation Technology
The Project is loaded in Visual Studio 2010. We used Visual Studio for Design and coding of project. Created and maintained all databases into SQL Server 2008, in that we create tables, write query for store data or record of project.

Advantages & Limitations
- Improved Efficiency: By automating the business process, many unnecessary steps can be eliminated.
- Better process Control: Through the process modeling and standardization of the business processes better management of the processes is achieved.
- Flexibility: Because the processes are controlled by software, they can be adapted proactively with the changing business needs.
- Business process improvement: With the use of the process models much information about the process’s performance can be found and the process can be improved.
Limitations:
- System may provide inaccurate results if data entered incorrectly.
